When the standard response for field service (next available engineer, Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm) is not enough, a fully tailored contract to suit your requirements will provide the security you need. These contracts are targeted specifically at businesses that require defined procedures for escalation management of downtime.
Committed Response Contract
The entry level option is a Committed Response Contract, committing to on-site assistance on the next working day. A response level contract typically includes a package of services such as an initial site audit, an agreed level of preventative maintenance and where required, Response Enhancement for a Service Level Agreement (SLA) inline with your business requirements (4, 8, 12, 24 hour response).
Budgeting service costs are not always easy, and you can take advantage of two further options for peace of mind - Labour Inclusive Contract and Fully Inclusive Contract. These contracts provide an excellent way to effectively plan your budgets and fix costs for the year.

Response Enhancements
Response Enhancements can be added to upgrade from next working day service to the service level that suits you. All of our contracted services are fully co-ordinated via our 24/7 service call reception. As standard they also incorporate a 24/7 telephone support contract that enables your site engineers to take full advantage of their expertise and knowledge prior to mobilising Siemens’ field service team.
Modernisation and Optimisation
Further tailoring is available by adding a variety of options to your contract. Modernisation and Optimisation such as Retrofitting and Re-Engineering can add real value, ensuring that obsolete products can be strategically replaced minimising risk by reducing the number of long lead or repair exchange items. Retrofitting maximises your initial application investment. Through Re-Engineering you benefit from the introduction of extra features or changes of technology that can bring process savings or safety enhancements all controlled, installed and managed by Siemens.
Parts Management can take many forms, but the overall aim is to help reduce your total cost of ownership for Siemens’ products or solutions.
Flexible pre-designed parts plans provide you with consignment stock on site or access to shared availability spares. The managed process ensures that warranty returns and repairs are visible, tracked and remain inline with your evolving requirements.
A Site Audit/Assessment and gap analysis will form the basis of any parts management recommendations.
Embedded Engineering
From time to time you will suffer resource challenges - installation and commissioning of new lines that absorb manpower, staff sickness, holiday shortages - and you need an experienced engineer who can hit the floor running.
