| Siemens commissioned Freeway Commerce in Preston to host a server to receive orders from selected Customers. Siemens provide software to transmit electronic orders from Customers via the Internet using FTP. Freeway convert the received message into a standard Edifact form, so that all orders received via the Enterprise Server require no translation but can immediately be converted to an idoc and passed to Siemens. |
